What You Get

Why Professionals Refer Us

A Referral You Can Stand Behind

When clients ask about outdoor lighting, you can recommend Lone Star Illumination with confidence. Every contractor in our network is licensed, insured, and experienced in luxury residential work — so your referral reflects well on your firm.

Licensed Local Specialists

Each network partner holds an active Texas Electrical Contractor License (TECL), carries a minimum of $1M in general liability insurance, and has at minimum three years of experience in premium residential outdoor lighting.

Consistent Luxury-Tier Experience

The Lone Star Illumination brand ensures your client receives a premium consultation experience regardless of which Texas market they're in — Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, or the surrounding suburbs.

Area-Matched Contractor

Inquiries are routed to the contractor serving your client's specific area. Your client won't be handed to a company two hours away — they'll speak with someone who knows their neighborhood.

No Formal Commitment Required

There's no registration process or ongoing obligation. You refer your client and we take it from there. The relationship is as simple as passing along a name.

You Remain the Primary Professional

Our contractors understand that you are the architect or builder of record. They treat your client accordingly and won't undermine the professional relationship you've built.

How It Works

Simple from Start to Finish

The referral process requires nothing of you beyond passing along a name. Everything after that is handled by the local contractor.

01

Your Role

You Refer

You pass your client our name, our website, or our contact information. That's the entirety of your obligation.

02

Client Action

Client Submits an Inquiry

Your client fills out a brief consultation request on our site. It takes two minutes and gives the local contractor everything they need to prepare.

03

Our Role

We Route to a Local Specialist

The inquiry is matched to the licensed contractor serving your client's area. They reach out directly to schedule a site visit.

04

Project Execution

The Contractor Handles Everything

From consultation and design to installation and any follow-up — the local contractor manages the full project independently. You stay focused on your work.

Common Questions

Questions from Design Professionals

Independent licensed contractors in our network — not Lone Star Illumination directly. We are a marketing platform and partner network. The local contractor is a separate legal entity who owns the client relationship from consultation through installation.

No. There's no registration, no paperwork, and no ongoing commitment. You simply refer your client. If you'd like to be kept informed of how the project proceeds, let us know when you make the referral and we'll facilitate that communication.

All network partners are required to hold an active Texas Electrical Contractor License (TECL), carry a minimum of $1M in general liability insurance, maintain workers' compensation coverage, and have a minimum of three years operating as an outdoor lighting contractor.

Yes. Every inquiry is routed to the contractor serving that specific metro area or suburb. We do not connect clients with out-of-area contractors.

Any service, maintenance, or warranty matters are handled directly between your client and the local contractor. Lone Star Illumination is not a party to the installation contract and does not provide post-installation support.

Your client is handed to a pre-vetted specialist operating under a luxury brand standard — not whoever surfaces first in a Google search. The Lone Star name signals a certain level of professionalism and the referral reflects accordingly on you.
